Visit of Professor Miao Wang from Ludong University (China)

From the 27th of February to the 3rd of March 2023 we have the presence of Professor Miao Wang from the University of Ludong (China). Singer and music educator, she has studied at the Xi’an Conservatory of Music and at the Marcello Benedetto Conservatory in Venice. In 2016, she won the second prize at the International Voice Competition in Tokyo, and in 2020 the second prize at the Shandong University “Music Teacher Basic Skills Competition”. She was also the winner of the “Shandong University Teacher Teaching Ability Competition” in 2022.

This visit is funded by a grant from the Erasmus+ programme for teaching mobility. During his stay at the Faculty of Education Sciences he has given the following seminars:

“Appreciation and singing in Chinese classical traditional folk songs” 

“Appreciation of classic works of ancient Chinese poetry and artistic songs” 

“The influence of western music culture on the creation of Chines Arts songs”
