Liter21

The interdisciplinary LITER21 group is comprised by specialists in Didactics of Language and Literature, Didactics of Plastic Expression, Didactics of Musical Expression, Philology and Fine Arts. One of the focal areas of the group is the study of Literature from the perspective of three different main areas (History of Literature, Theory of Literature, Literary Criticism and Comparative Literature) and, especially, the study of Galician Children's and Youth Literature (CYAL).

Researchers at LITER21 also approach other fields of knowledge, such as art education, musical education and literature education or studies on arts-based educational innovation (ABER). Research lines include the educational possibilities of CYAL, the study of the relationship between text and illustration, or the study of visual narratives.
