This chapter refers to an art education experience that consists of making three-dimensional grids to configure modular structures. The activity is carried out with future Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers to make them aware of the need to balance flat activities such as drawing and painting with volumetric activities. The elements of visual and plastic language developed here are typical of sculpture techniques: volume, space, balance, three-dimensional form, and 3D composition. As the execution of the task is carried out in a team, cooperative skills are also acquired. The experience is in line with the creations of contemporary artists who create modular compositions and reticular installations.
