Degree in Galician Philology and PhD in Galician Philology from the University of Santiago de Compostela with a thesis on Children’s and Young Adult Literature. Professor at the Faculty of Education Sciences of the University of Santiago de Compostela and at the CEU School of Education of Vigo-University of Vigo. Secretary of the Thematic Research Network “Las Literaturas Infantiles y Juveniles en del Marco Ibérico e Iberoamericano” (LIJMI). She is a member of the Scientific Staff of ICE, a member of the Research Group LITER21 (GI-1839) of the USC and, until 2012, treasurer of the Galician-Portuguese Association of Research in Children’s and Young Adult Literature. ELOS, section of the National Association for Research in Children’s and Young Adult Literature (ANILIJ). She participates in the projects “Bibliografía da Literatura Galega”, “Diccionarios de literatura”, “Informes de Literatura”, “Investigación en Literatura Infantil y Juvenil” and “Narrativa recuperada” of the Centro Ramón Piñeiro para a Investigación en Humanidades, as well as other projects at regional and national level. Author of monographs, articles and reviews on Galician literature and literature for children and young people. Among these publications is her participation in the History of Galician Children’s and Young People’s Literature, coordinated by Blanca Roig.
