FIRST CALL FOR PAPERS
The LITER21 Research Group – University of Santiago de Compostela and Research Center on Child Studies – University of Minho unite to launch the II Internacional Conference on Child Studies seeking to be a meeting point between university teachers, researchers, early childhood and primary teachers, teacher students and other stakeholders who work in education, rights, protection and welfare of children. The II International Conference on Child Studies will be a forum for the presentation, discussion and recognition of the multi and interdisciplinary framework of the vast field of research and engagement based on science for the improvement of early childhood and youth conditions. Taking into account the goals of sustainable development and the 2030 Agenda related to child participation in the construction of a more equal and fair society on a global scale, this II Conference welcomes scientific works, empirical papers, conceptual discussions and policy briefs with a focus on children and their living conditions in ever complex and changing times.

Contributions on social and environmental sustainability, through the production of scientific knowledge that values childrens’ perspectives and promotes their social and political participation.
