On Tuesday 15th November at 18:00 in the Galician Auditorium, the Cineuropa Festival dedicates a section of its programme to the Aturuxo films project, a programme developed in the IES of Cacheiras and in the Faculty of Education Sciences by the professor Sergio Clavero Ibáñez de Garayo.
The festival will screen ten short films, which have received 60 awards at film festivals, with live performances of some of the soundtracks. The pedagogical project will also be explained and there will be a discussion with the students.

The educational project Aturuxo Films – Inaxinando Músicas develops film and media literacy at the IES de Cacheiras and the Professional Conservatory of Music in Santiago de Compostela. Throughout its trajectory, it has won numerous awards such as the 1st Proxecta Prize for Educational Innovation 2018, the 1st INOVAGAL 2021 Prize from the Xunta Education Department, the Audiovisual Literacy Prize 2014, and the National Prize for Good Educational Practices from the Ministry of Education 2019. In addition, this project also won awards such as the Golden Spiral Awards Golden Spinning Top and the Mention of the Great Initiatives Awards 2019, as well as being a Finalist in the Mentes AMI 2022 Awards of the Atresmedia Foundation.
