She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a major in Music (USC), a Bachelor’s degree in Galician Popular and Traditional Musical Instruments (CAMV), a Master’s degree in Musical Research (VIU) and a PhD with her thesis “Compilation, analysis and educational use of vocal repertoire and hand-held percussion as part of Galicia’s Intangible Heritage. A case study” (UDC). She has also had non-regulated education in Galician traditional music. Her teaching, researching and performing career is closely linked to Galician music of oral tradition, its teaching, and its means of circulation.
