Vicente Blanco and Salvador Cidrás are visual artists and professors in the Didactics of Plastic Expression area at the University of Santiago de Compostela in the Faculty of Teacher Training in Lugo.
Graduates in Fine Arts from the University of Vigo, doctors in Fine Arts (UGR) and Humanities (USC) respectively and graduates in Ceramics from the EASD Ramón Falcón in Lugo, they develop their artistic research in different media such as video, drawing, sculpture and installation. Their work has been exhibited individually in important contemporary art museums: Reina Sofía (Madrid), CGAC (Compostela), MUSAC (León); as well as in numerous group exhibitions.
They are promoters of the educational innovation group Escola Imaxinada, a collective made up of different professionals from the fields of the arts, architecture, philosophy and infant and primary education, whose objectives are: to bring arts-based methodologies to schools and to contribute to the design of quality educational spaces and resources in the classroom. Cara a unha escola imaxinada (Kalandraka Editora) Educacompostela Prize 2017, and Debuxar o mundo, Marta Mata Pedagogy Prize 2020.
