VII International Seminar of Research on the Book-Object

On Friday 6th May, three of the members of this research group will attend as participants in the VII Seminário Internacional de Investigação sobre o Livro-Objeto that will take place at the University of Aveiro. The coordinator of the group, Carmen Franco-Vázquez, will give two papers. The first, shared with Marta Neira-Rodríguez, also a member of Liter21, will be at 11:30 in Panel 2, under the title “Unha viaxe á metaliteratura nos libro-obxecto. Tres artefactos, três possibilidades”. The second, “Libros dentro de libros. Metaficción en la obra de Emily Gravett”, will take place at 14:30 in Panel 3, together with Ana Vidal, graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Vigo. In Panel 4, from 16:30, Ad Honorem Emeritus Professor Blanca-Ana Roig Rechou will share the paper “Metaficcionalidade e intertextualidade en libros-obxecto en lingua galega cuxo espazo é o tropo intramuros en oposición ao extramuros” with the author Ánxela Rodríguez Rodríguez, better known in the field of children’s literature as Ánxela Gracián. The seminar is organised by the Departamento de Linguas e Culturas and the Centro de Linguas, Literatura e Culturas of the University of Aveiro in collaboration with the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia.

On May 6th, the “VII Seminario Internacional de Investigação sobre o Livro-Objeto: metaficção, hibridismo e intertextualidade” was held at the University of Aveiro. This event was attended by Blanca-Ana Roig Rechou, Carmen Franco-Vázquez and Marta Neira-Rodríguez. Next year 2023 the VIII International Seminar on Book-Object will take place at the University of Santiago de Compostela and will be organised by the LITER21 group.
