Abstract
This doctoral thesis aims to study the narrative works of Children’s and Youth Literature in Galician that represented, to some extent, the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), from the beginning of the conflict until 2014. Starting from the postulates of feminist, comparative, and systemic theories show how women were represented in works and a typology of those representations is proposed. Likewise, the production made by women writers is quantified in comparison with that of men writers and a comparison is made between the similarities and differences of the representations of the roles of women made by each other.
