Abstract

Isotopic collection organized around intergenerational relations in literature for children’s and young people, a volume in the wake of others that, under the same banner, have come to light in recent years, the work now being published brings together a set of papers signed by Portuguese and Galician researchers. It deals with diverse research produced around the broad topic of literature for childhood and intergenerational dialogues, with special focus on issues related to literary education, as mentioned above. Organized in two parts – namely “Studies and Notes” and “Critical Reviews” -, the present volume thus makes known, in addition to several studies originally conceived within the scope of the 24th Luso-Galaic Children’s Book Encounters, which took place at the Escola Superior de Educação do Porto on 13, 14 and 15 December 2018, other distinct approaches, but which equally problematize the topic at hand, as well as reviews of recently published works focused on literature of potential reception for children and youth.
