Abstract

In this text, the piece of work of a participant in the photography workshops that I have been giving to adolescents for five years is presented and analyzed. The objective of this reflection is to extract the key ideas that make photography a suitable medium for experimenting with abstract and  complex thinking.  The ambiguous nature of photography, that shows and hides, that reveals and masks simultaneously, facilitates the exploration of identity. The images direct us to the sensitive world where things are linked by imagination and lead a new life far from their origin.
