Abstract

In this chapter, some brief reflections are made on the relationship between art and The Way. The first part focuses on artistic references of all times that combine two concepts: artistic creations with the action of walking, with the need to travel a path, be it real or figurative through the History of Art. Thus we will stop at the hieroglyphs of the prehistoric petroglyphs, the illustrations by Gustave Doré, the creations of the Land Art artists and the contributions of Kounellis. Finally, the illustrations of a selection of children’s and youth books, in the Galician language, that deal with the theme of the way are briefly reviewed.
