Abstract

The wonderful tale is defined and characterised, the different types of rewriting and creative techniques for the promotion of literary writing are related, and the concepts of book-object and literary constellation are delimited. Then, the results of a didactic proposal carried out with students of the subject “Children’s and Young Adult Literature and its Didactics” of the Primary Education Degree are described and presented, in which they worked on different classic wonderful stories with the aim of identifying their functions and actors, in order to subsequently carry out several activities with the intention of fostering creativity: identification of similarities and differences between the versions of Perrault and Grimm, comparison with rewritings of children’s and young people’s literature, creation of a book-object, creation of a rewriting and elaboration of an illustrated album on paper or digital and, finally, creation of an artistic-literary constellation about one of the chosen characters.
